Stop The UK Clock Change

Leave the clocks alone!

Twice a year, millions of families move their children's whole routine by an hour overnight disrupting millions of bedtimes. We're campaigning to leave the clocks alone!

Take the two-minute clock change survey and we'll say thanks with a discount on a Zeepy clock.
Picture the scene

It's Sunday. 5:04am.

Small footsteps on the landing. A child who is completely certain it's morning, and a kitchen clock that disagrees.

By Wednesday they're wide awake at 8pm and asleep in the car at 4.

It takes a week or so to get back on track. Then it all happens again in March.

It can be done

One place just stopped.

In September 2026, Manitoba in Canada decided to stop changing its clocks. Nearly 72,000 people answered the province's survey.

On 1 November, when the clocks go back across most of North America, Manitoba stays put. We'll be asking families there how the first winter goes.

92% of Manitobans who answered wanted the switching to end.Government of Manitoba, September 2026

What we're asking for

Pick an hour. Leave it there.

We don't care which hour the UK keeps. Just stop changing it. The British Sleep Society says the twice-yearly change should go.

What happens in your house?

Six quick questions. Every March and October we ask parents what the clock change does to bedtime, and we share what they tell us.

Finish the survey and we'll email you a thank-you discount on a Zeepy clock.
1. How old are your children? (tick all that apply)
2. Would you get rid of the clock change?
3. If the clocks stopped changing, which would you rather keep?
4. How long does your child take to settle after the clocks change?

We'll use your answers in our research and only ever share them anonymously. Privacy policy
