Inside Zeepy Sleep: A Top 5% Bedtime Stories Podcast for Kids and Toddlers

At Zeepy, we set out with a simple mission: to make bedtime better. And today, we’re proud to share that the Zeepy Sleep Podcast is ranked in the top 5% of all podcasts globally (out of 3.5 million, according to ListenNotes). What started as a calming audio tool to support families who use our Zeepy Sleep Trainer Clock has become a go-to weekly ritual for thousands of parents looking to make bedtime easier, gentler, and more emotionally connected.

🎙️ Why We Created the Zeepy Sleep Podcast

I’m the founder of Trunki, the original ride-on suitcase for kids. After years creating physical products that support family life, I wanted to build something new—a digital companion for one of the most challenging parts of the day: bedtime. Inspired by real struggles many parents face (including my own), I saw an opportunity to create a calming, screen-free bedtime solution that could live in families’ homes through sound. With the rise of smart speakers, headphones, and audio-first parenting, a podcast felt like the perfect fit. And so Zeepy Sleep: Calming Bedtime Stories for Kids was born.

📦 From Clock to Podcast: A Connected Bedtime Experience

The podcast is closely tied to our flagship product: the Zeepy Sleep Trainer Clock, a parent-loved tool that uses colours and characters to help children know when it’s time to sleep or wake up.

Every product box and guide encourages families to listen to the podcast as part of their bedtime routine. We also offer a free 30-page digital Sleep Guide for parents, filled with routines, expert strategies, and printables — all reinforcing the same calming language and emotional support as the podcast.

📈 Growing with Purpose (and Passion)

Since launching in early 2024, Zeepy Sleep has:

We don’t take sponsorships. For now, the podcast is entirely funded as part of our core brand because we believe in giving families free access to tools that genuinely help.

🛠️ Our Process: From Script to Sleep

Each episode begins with a concept designed to meet a child’s emotional needs—whether that’s reassurance, confidence, kindness, or rest. We write every story in-house, then hand it off to our talented narrator Olly, who brings it to life with warmth, calm, and beautiful original sound design. We publish via Buzzsprout, and each episode takes 10 to 15 hours from idea to final master.

💛 What Families Are Saying

From our listeners

“My daughter fell asleep before the story even ended. She loves Kip!” “The only thing that works consistently to calm our 4-year-old at night.” “We play it every night as part of our bedtime routine.”

This feedback means the world and it confirms that storytelling, when done with heart and intention, can make a real difference.
